True magic is the greatest of all natural sciences
In the middle of the great woods not far from where I live, there is a mystical (and I believe also magical) gate.
Legend/rumor has it that the gate heirs from ancient time, over 4000 years ago, when kentaurs and sphinxes walked the earth. Only a few people have ever dared entering the gate, and as far as i know there has only been five such incidents the last hundred years. Driven by my lust for exitement and adventure, i had to enter and see what was beyond.
After some time walking, something that looked like a building came to sight:
What a sight! What was this place that I had just discovered? The whole surroundings oozed World War II, but I also felt there were some much older forces in play (in accordance with the legend).
The place was like an enourmous complex with a big field in the middle. At the spot wich looked like it was once the site for the main building, the ground was covered with ruins. My historian friend Albert concluded they must have been the result of an ancient war over a thousand years ago.
Exploring a bit more, i found there were all kinds of eerie buildings around:
The place started to freak me out, so I stole a traktor and headed home.
