At a certain point in your existence, you get the urge to get out on the countryside to feel the mood of the mountains and farms and fresh air. So Simon and I decided to take a trip to the old family cabin in the norwegian monutainy farmlands. It turned out to be some amazing days up there. Let me share with you some moments of the fantastic journey:
We started off with a train from Oslo Central Station, and after two hours or so, we got off to switch to a more local train, that would get us to our destination:

The train journey was an experience in itself, and we passed by some interresting places:

True Norwegian black metal-store Felleskjöpet:

Nice natural surroundings:

Passing a nifty train somewhere in Hedmark:

At arrival, the weather was so nice, we didn’t have any other choice than to indulge ourselves into a hedonistic carefree lifestyle, doing nothing but bathing in the river, laughing of old jokes and eat traditional food in the sun.
Simon saluting by the river:

We went by the old “cowboy”-villlage to say hi to our old friends at the horsemanship, they wouldn’t let us take pictures inside the village tho. So here’s one from the outside instead:

Walking home after a delicious day in the sun by the river:

In the evening, Simon took our holiday to the next level by demonstrating his extraordinary baking skills:

Best stuff i’ve tasted in years.
In the nighttime, about 2 am, we decided to go exploring the surroundings to see what it looked like during nighttime.

Suprisingly, we met an old friend, who we both thougt had died some time ago. But obviously he was more alive than ever:

We said hi, but had to carry on to be able to explore before the sun came up.
Everything looked a lot more mysterious at night:

Visiting the old hanging bridge:

The train station also had visitors:

Awesome self-exposure:

The last day of our stay, before leaving, we went to look at some old traktors and stuff:
This one was parked in the middle of nowhere:

And this one was on a farm:

Aaaaand, then we took the train home again

Nice trip
